Why We Made This

The Traverse Shell is what happens when you apply ultralight an backpacking obsession to dog gear. It's lighter than most humans' rain jackets, and it packs down smaller than your fist.

Built from ultralight silicone-coated polyester, this shell sheds rain, sleet, and wind. The design stays put on the move, and it layers effortlessly over our Trailhead Fleece or Switchback Puffy when you need full protection.

This is the layer you'll forget is in your pack - until you need it.

LayerTech

This is one of three.

Sundial layers are engineered to connect. Each works alone. Together, the stack weighs under 1 lb. Toggle-and-loop keeps everything locked down through sustained movement.

Traverse Fleece

Layer 1 - Warmth. Recycled polyester microfleece. Wear alone or as the base under insulation.

Closure: Top-release buckle with adjustable, lightweight webbing
Packable: Stuffs into your pocket (approximately 3" × 3" × 2")

Sizing

Chest girth is the most important measurement. Measure around the widest part of your dog's ribcage, just behind the front legs.

- XS: Chest 14–17" / Back 10–12"
- S: Chest 17–21" / Back 12–15"
- M: Chest 21–26" / Back 15–18"
- L: Chest 26–32" / Back 18–22"
